Veera is a foundation working to bring men into the conversation on gender equity, an area where less than 0.3% of efforts in India meaningfully engage men at all.
The subject matter invites an emotional register almost by default, but Veera’s own position is closer to a research organization than an advocacy campaign: here’s the data, here’s the gap, here’s what we’re doing about it. The website had to hold that tone without going cold, and reach a younger audience without softening into sentiment to do it.
The site couldn’t just state Veera’s mission once and ask for support. Behavior change is slow, and the audience most worth reaching, younger men encountering these ideas for the first time, needed a reason to come back, not just a reason to believe it once. That shaped the site around two jobs: state the case clearly on arrival, then give people a place to keep engaging with it over time.
